In Loving Memory of Shirleen Christensen Davis

With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the beautiful life of Shirleen Christensen Davis, who peacefully returned home to her Heavenly Father on the morning of March 19, 2025. She was lovingly embraced in paradise by her beloved mother, her dear son Blaine, and all those who had gone before her.

Born on October 13, 1946, in Salina, Utah, Shirleen was a woman of unwavering strength, quiet resilience, and deep patience. She devoted her life to her family and to service within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She lived with grace and purpose, finding joy in the simple yet profound acts of love—cooking nourishing meals, creating a warm and welcoming home, tending to her flourishing garden, and offering kindness to all who crossed her path.

She was the cherished wife of A. Carter Davis, a devoted mother to her children, Craig M. Davis (Lorie), Christine D. Ross (Travis), and daughter-in-law Dorothy Davis, and a proud Nanna to Megan Davis, Grace Davis, Isac Davis, Sydney Savage, Caleb Davis, Maggie Davis, Zoe Mickelson, Tyler Ross, Carah Ross, and Breanna Ross, as well as a great-grandmother to Atlas Savage—each of whom was blessed by her love and wisdom.

She is preceded in death by her son Blaine C. Davis, her parents Clifford Elmer Christensen and Fern Ludene Johnson Christensen, and her siblings Lapreal Merriam, Fern Jarrell, and Sherman Christensen. She is survived by her loving sister Marilyn Colton, who shared a lifetime of memories and love with her.

Shirleen’s life was a testament to faith, love, and service. Though she will be deeply missed, her light will continue to shine in the hearts of those she touched.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 29th, at the LDS chapel located at 607 E Rocky Mouth Ln, Draper, UT. All are welcome to attend:
