Steve was born in Payson, Utah to Max and Madeline Larsen. He was the 7th of 9 siblings. Milo Larsen(Sonja), Cathy Register, Michael Larsen(deceased), Diane Petty(David), Ramona Memmott(Barry), Joe Larsen(Pat), Ezra and Lori Larsen(deceased), Dorothy Durrant(Richard).
He graduated from Provo High School in 1969 and continued his education through Provo Tech in becoming a diesel mechanic. He started Larsen Diesel and Machine with his brother Ezra in Springville. Steve worked for Geneva Steel, Bredero Price, and several trucking companies. Steve married Linda Carter on 4/4/1975 and raised a family with 5 children in Orem, Utah. Gary Larsen, Russell Larsen(Marcy), Brittney Ercanbrack(Matt), Shane Larsen(Melissa) and Jeni Fackrell(Matt). He is called grandpa by 13 grandkids (Maddie, Lauren, Gage, Colten, Brooke, Garrett, Carter, Chase, Chandler, Brynlee, Shayla, Reigahn, Kenzie) and 1 great grandson(Kaesin).

Steve enjoyed camping, snowmobiling, boating at Lake Powell and building things with his hands. He built a cabin with family from the ground up in Fairview, Utah. You could find him at Callies in Orem having coffee with friends. He was always willing to drop everything to help a friend in need.
Dads bark was always bigger than his bite and he will be missed.
