Salt Lake City, UT—Theodore Alfred Faerber, Jr., 85, passed away on October 8, 2017 of complications from cancer. Born in SLC, Utah, on August 25, 1932 to Virginia Tonks Luckey and Theodore Alfred Faerber. He was a good husband, a good father, and a good citizen. Ted was a kind, quiet man who was so loved by his family and friends. He enjoyed helping people – no task was too large. He will be deeply missed. Ted worked at Kennecott for 39 years and was a Lifelong Member of the IATSE (International Alliance of Theatrical & Stage Employees). Survived by his wife Maria and children, Shirley S. Faerber (Jim McHugh), James A. Faerber (Sherri Lindberg), Ronald Faerber (Kari N. Mathews Faerber) and Grandchildren Arrin C. Garrick, Jesse C. Faerber Craner (John Craner), Adam C. Faerber, Hannah N. Faerber, Jasmine Lindberg, Seth Lindberg, Chance Lindberg, Great Grandchildren Dante Ardon, Kayden Lindberg, Lexxi Carlson, Jason Lindberg and brother, Gordon Faerber. Viewing/Celebration of Life at Mountain View Memorial, 3115 East 7800 South, SLC on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00PM. Funeral service (Mass) at the Carmelite Monastery Chapel, 5714 Holladay Blvd, SLC on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 1:00PM. Graveside Service and Military Salute will follow at Holladay Memorial Park, 4900 Memory Lane, Holladay, Utah.
