William H Hicks passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, August 17, 2020.
Bill was born on February 2, 1951 in Salina, Utah to Clarence and Dorothy Hicks. He married the love of his life, Colleen Mamales Hicks, on November 6, 1970.
Bill drove truck for 40 years. At the time of his passing, he was employed at Sunrise Senior Living as a maintenance assistant. Bill loved life, and enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, and golfing. Bill adored his wife, kids, and grandchildren: Abbie Rylee, Randi, Morgan, and Kamilla. He will be dearly missed.
Bill is survived by his wife, Colleen, Daughter, Kimi (Justin) Vasey, Son, Ryan (Crystal) Hicks, five grandchildren, and siblings, Shanna (Bob) Brinkerhoff, Wayne (Kathy) Hicks, Marlene (Steve) Carlsen, Natalie (Dave) Fontana, and Russell (Denise) Hicks.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister MaryAnn.
Friends and family may gather on Monday, August 24, 2020, at 1:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah 84123.
Following Salt Lake County’s mandate on facial coverings, face masks are required at all public gatherings. Social distancing will be enforced. For those unable to attend the services, Memorial Mortuaries and Cemeteries are offering a livestreaming of the funeral service on Zoom.
