Zoe Woodward, age 57, passed into the realm of love. She passed away on Tuesday, May 21st 2019 at home due to natural causes. She was born on May 28th 1961 in Murray, Utah. She was raised by two wonderful parents who had 5 children of their own. She graduated Murray High School in 1979.
Zoe went on to marry a wonderful husband and they had a family of their own. Zoe was blessed (cursed) with three wonderful sons who gave her light. Her family was the light of her life and she thrived around them. Annoying each other and embarrassing each other where often her favorite past times.
Zoe was always welcoming and giving. She would go out of her way to help you. Often times at a detriment to herself but she would make it work. That's just the type of woman she was.
Zoe was fun, she was the life of the party and she loved throwing them. She always put together the best parties and celebration events. She would always make sure everyone had a good time. Often her favorites where the Utah vs BYU game #GoUtes, or her Superbowl parties. An avid Utah fan she made damn sure her boys grew up Utah fans too. She loved watching Utah games with the family, rooting and cheering the loudest.
Zoe worked at Mountain Bell, US West, Quest, AT&T, XO Communications, and Spectrum. She loved working and would often take on tasks that others couldn’t perform. She would own those tasks and make them her own. Fully completing the tasks did ruffle some feathers but that's happens when your as good as Zoe was.
Zoe took great pride and joy in her family. She loved going on vacations, day outings and just going out. She took joy in celebrating life and took every opportunity to do so. She loved visiting the world and left us too early to visit some of the most fascinating places.
We know Zoe Woodward is still helping her family. We know that she is working in our highest good and helping us through each day. We know that she is happier now because she gets to be with her whole family at all times.
Zoe is survived by her husband, three sons and a granddaughter. Zoe was married to Wes Woodward for 35 years. They had a lovely marriage and birthed three beautiful boys; Travis, Zach and Jared Woodward. Her granddaughter, Tayla, came into her life 10 years ago and brought Zoe such joy and happiness that it cannot be expressed in words.
Please help us celebrate her life by coming to her life party. It will be held at 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Schmidt’s Pastry Cottage in South Jordan Utah on June 20th 2019.
Thanks, her death came at quite a shock. She will be missed and we will always remember her.
