On April 19, 2024, Nancy Reese Fehr was reunited with her husband in heaven after enduring a courageous 1-year battle with cancer.

Nancy was born on September 13, 1968, to Kent Watkins Reese and Linda Darlene Roberts Reese in Provo, Utah. She was the oldest of 3 children, with 2 younger brothers, Kevin and Mike. She spent several years growing up in Tooele and later the family moved to Highland, Utah, where she spent the rest of her childhood. She spoke fondly of her outdoor adventures, including hunting tadpoles and frogs with her brothers. Nancy graduated from American Fork High School where she met her sweetheart, Chris David Fehr, whom she later married.

Together, Chris and Nancy made their home in Herriman, Utah, where they raised 2 beautiful daughters, Kirstie and Alyssa. She worked as a bookkeeper for Provo Optical and later as an Optician for JC Penney Optical in West Valley City, as well as many additional optical stores throughout her career. She was a very skilled Optician and loved what she did. She enjoyed helping customers find just the right frame and always enjoyed her interactions with people. She was confident and friendly with everyone.

Nancy was a people-person and could make friends with anyone. If you knew her, you were her friend and she stuck by you. People gravitated towards her for the joy and laughter she radiated. She loved shopping and buying gifts for others. She was very giving. She was an animal lover and had dreams of one day owning her own farm. Her favorite color was purple and purple WAS her personality.

She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, and mother. Family was what mattered most to her in this life. She excelled at loving and serving her family. Nancy had a love for all people and never knew a stranger. Her large circle of friends was easy to enter into, and once in that circle, you remained her friend for life.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Intermountain Home Health and Hospice for the wonderful care they provided for Nancy. We felt like an extension of family and they put so much thought into giving us thoughtful gifts that would honor her memory. We would like to specifically thank her nurse, Jessica, and her aide, Sari, for always treating Nancy with dignity and advocating for her. "Thank you" will never be enough to express the comfort you brought us during this hard time.

Her husband, Chris David Fehr preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughters, Kirstie (Mitch) Fee and Alyssa (Dax) Fehr; her parents, Kent Watkins Reese and Linda Darlene Roberts Reese; and brothers, Kevin (Janessa) Reese and Mike (Jessica) Reese.
